much for their trip. Using technology will become useful for busy people. They
only need to spend 15 minutes to visit the website, select the flight schedule.
The website will have a system that automatically updates standard hotel lists
as well as a means to assist customers. The convenience of technology has
partly helped the hotel and service industry thrive. The hotel and service
industries have taken advantage of the trend today that everyone needs to use
the network through apps, websites. Therefore, they also open applications to
link with well-known websites in the tourism and service industry to show their
company's advantages close to customers. From there, they are marketing and
selling the service they have as an invisible product. According to Paul stated

that technology is less effective for the service industry. Because, if there
is no technology, people will not know the quality of the service or product as

there they will not be able to interact and understand the needs of customers
and customers cannot find what they want.
Besides the
hospitality industry, what people are now concerned about is the restaurant
service industry. There are many restaurants that use the location app to
invite customers to the nearest address to them. In addition, customers who are
busy with their work at the office, do not have time to go out they can download
popular applications like Uber Eats to search for products quickly, suitable
for their needs. of them at anytime and anywhere. This shows that technology is
actively interacting with the service and marketing industry.
Technology
brings many benefits to the hospitality, restaurant and service industries. But
according to research, people can see that some fast-food restaurants are
currently a hot trend in Asia. There are many brands such as KFC, Starbucks and
MC Donald that are successful in Asia. It is understandable because society is
more and more modern when everyone knows product brands through social
networks. But MC Donald failed in Vietnam while Starbucks and KFC were very
successful when building their brand with fast-food restaurants. Why did MC
Donald fail? MC Donald is known for fast, convenient, good image but in Vietnam
region, MC Donald has not exactly market like KFC. An average Vietnamese will
spend $ 2-3 for lunch. Otherwise, MC Donald is more expensive than street food
and other brands. However, we cannot deny that Starbucks costs about $ 5 per cup
of coffee but they have succeeded because they have their own product
standards, attracting young people as well as the public. MC Donald promoted
the brand with technology but was less prominent and they did not target young
people or young children much. KFC is quite the opposite, they created image
promotion by going to elementary, middle, and high schools to convince as well
as connecting with the school to hold a product testing session. That proves
that not only does technology use in the service industry, but there is a need
for a direct exchange to preach and listen to customers. This is the video I

Loyalty:
A loyal customer extends to the fact of repeat

existing business. Loyalty is one of the major affecting marketing strategies. With the intense competitive nature of the market and with

is to ensure that customers who've had a good experience with the organization

Personally,I believe that now a days most of the people are busy in their lives. They dont want to spend their there time by going on any agency or hotels for bookings and all other procedures. They want to say their time. For this technology is the biggest advantage for them. The hotel apps ,websites ,social media sites, everything helps the guests to make bookings online ,trustly and quickly. Which just take few minutes to do so. Every hotel should have there sites and bookings available online (technologically) this can help them to boon their business and can make more money than usual. Most of the people books the hotel rooms online by comparing with other hotels that which one can be benificial for them. So the hotels should make it more good and real for them on online.according to my views technology is the boon to the industry in this modern era. They should not eradicate the other strategies but must be more concerned about the online one.

Technology always had its importance for any kind of business, being vital and necessary to reach the goals and establishing new targets for their main core. However, companies are getting invaded by technology and its contents. The market's trend in Hospitality requires an update every single day and even if we think the industry has enough level of technology it's going to overtake some spots in hotels, resorts, restaurants and any business related to it. The main concern should be how the corporations are going to handle with this fusion, moreover, all departments would suffer from the merge between tech and productivity. The equation needs to be balanced to achieves the forecast and targets for the monthly and yearly financial's balance.

Actually, I don't think so. Although technology is the best thing to give benefits for customers, we still need marketing system. Because customers are not the same styles. In social media, they can figure out the best time to share a post or a blog across all channels or define which social platform bring the most interactions. Moreover, through emails, they can analyze which types of subject lines get most open rate or types of emails get most click-through rates. They even can use keywords which are being searched most to focus on specific target market or provide better offers. Through technology, companies can find and build up relationship with potential customers. Throughout high technology such as: internet, smartphones…people can access lots of information what they need. Thanks to that, hospitality industry in particular another industry on the whole also use internet to put on-line people who would like to learn relevant information or visitors want to find information before they come there. In order to market or advertise products or company previously such as contacting and meeting customers directly to advertise, we can go over the internet in the modern life. Technology is the main factor why most of us no longer have to go to travel agencies because we can book directly from the company’s website, mobile app or other third-party booking engines. Technology is also the most used in regards to sales and marketing, like the Visit Florida – they use social media and even promote on Yonge-Dundas through the digital billboards, even the Robot technology used in hotels. I think ALL tourism and hospitality companies or organization use technology as a platform for their business. Before, airline industries have paper tickets – and now they have e-tickets and you don’t even have to print the ticket rather they just need pull out your name from their system and they will see your booking and ticket – result of technology. I believe, time will come that ALL will depend in technology. I think this a good thing for the hospitality sector as it will make the job and travel easier for both workers and travelers.

On the other hand it can also be expensive for those who likes to travel on a budget. The same time a robot cannot provide the same service as a human. The person who likes quality service might not chose a hotel with robots. In my opinion it is better to use both technologies and human service in hospitality industry. Technologies will help to insure more accuracy and human can provide quality service.

Especially when it comes to developing high technology, the formations and ways of marketing could change in many ways. The development of technology has even improved the way of providing services and already become an essential part of the hospitality industry. For example, people can compare prices of hotels at a look on the Internet. Hotels can advertise themselves via electronic mails, social media and online platforms such as Expedia, Airbnb, and Skyscanner, and they do not have to conduct personal selling in person anymore due to technology. Even the way of making a reservation has increased-online booking through not only hotels’ websites and but also travel agencies. Therefore, I think there is an infinite possibility that the era of marketing could become more effective and creative than now. Moreover, as the blog described, I think it is a great idea to ‘personalize’ the use of technology with creativity, which will eventually result in enhancing the guests’ experiences and their loyalty.

The quality of hotel's service and the experience in hotel is the basement to success. Technology is a supplementary mean to improve the experience of customers. Loyalty of customers can only be created by good experience in hotel. Creativity can attract new customers but without good service, they won't come again. So I believe those three points are necessary but not strong enough to change the era of marketing.

The developed technology enables many things can be possible and promising. Almost all industry get benefits of advance in technology in many ways. Especially, sale and marketing in the hospitality industry, it has been faced with rapid changes and improvements. Although this might be challenging in some aspects, the industry is able to facilitate various research methods to launch new businesses and find different market segmentation for an existing business. I believe with technology, loyalty and creativity the hospitality industry could change the era of marketing to expand. With technology, hospitality industries use it for bookings and reservations, both guests and company. Everyone uses technology to market, if it’s online, on commercials, on ads, etc. We book and make reservations online along with booking flights online. With loyalty from customers and staff the industry will grow effectively with guests staying often and good staff growing within the company. ReplyDeleteAs we all learn, internet use cookies to get to know you and to analyze what you like, also they can find your location and show you according to what you like, the places you can visit that you may like, technology makes you easier to book a room or make a reservation at a hotel, even get a package which consist on your flight, hotel and a car for a “good” price, they make it appealing to you so you use all the services, technology now has the advantage of getting you more options with no extra investigation, unlike before, a person will take longer to book a flight and then the hotel and then the car rental, it use to take longer.

Technology plays a crucial role nowadays. I’ve been busy with school so I depend on what I see online. Like for example, I personally don’t have the time to go to a hotel and risk booking a room. I would end up browsing in Traveloka to check the best deals around the city. I also use applications most of the time such as Ubereats to buy my food when I’m in rush.
